Haven Memorials

Lettering is applied to the memorials by our craftsmen, and we offer the choice of individual hand cut letters or the latest state of the art machine cutting.

The finish of the letters will enhance the quality of the memorial and choices may be made from Gold Leaf , Flush Lead, Raised Lead or enamel paint of various colours - depending on Church Regulations - or for Purbeck, Portland and York stone a traditional cut only letter may be preferred.

We also specialise in carving world wide languages - Arabic, Chinese, Cyrillic and Hebrew are just a few examples.

Once the memorial design is chosen and the inscription style and finish decided a scaled layout drawing will be produced by the Drawing Office for your approval.

No new memorial inscription - or that of a renovated memorial where the stone is to be refaced - will be cut in the workshops until the signed approved layout is received.
